Future Cut Education provides immersive music composition workshops in schools, guided by industry professionals who have crafted UK Top 10 hits and work with major brands such as Apple, ITV . Tailored to meet the needs of IB (MYP and DP), GCSE, and A-level learners, our sessions ensure a thorough educational experience that aligns with the academic goals of all curriculums.
Course Leader
Our courses are delivered by Pete Buchanan. Pete has worked extensively in music across the globe since graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2004. He has produced 2 UK top 20 hits (Rizzle Kicks 'Lost Generation reached #7 & The Streets 'Blinded by the Lights '23 reached #17) and has worked with a string of top brands including Apple, Nike, Adidas, NFL, David Beckham and Porche to name a few.
On top of this, Pete has gained tens of thousands of followers online and a huge world wide fanbase for his own electronic dance music. He gained significant attention online by showing his unique production methods that offer a unique, 'behind the scenes' view of his process on social media. This has led to frequent sold out releases through his own London based record label 'N4' and collaborations with acts such as The Prodigy.
Pete's passion for music and desire to pass on his knowledge, skills and expertise led to the creation of Future Cut. Here he works closely with specialists in GCSE/ IGCSE, A Level, IB MYP and IBDP to create courses that give students in schools the chance to learn from his experience and work directly with him on their own compositions.
